The Cab Franc was harvested from the tiny Corvus Vineyard on Red Mountain on September 29, 2018, another warm vintage for Washington. After blending with 15% Merlot from Stillwater Creek Vineyard, the wine was aged in 50% new French oak for 30 months.

In the glass, the color shows a deep garnet red, with fruit-forward flavors of soft cranberry and raspberry on the front of the palate. The lovely midrange presents red fruits mingled with floral and herbal notes, ending with a satisfying finish of soft tannins and a touch of milk chocolate. No green pepper or other “green” notes due to full ripeness at harvest.
