Deux Amants is a harmonious 50/50 blend of Cabernet Sauvignon from Rosebud Vineyards and Syrah from Klipsun Vineyard on Red Mountain. The wine is luscious and supple, beginning with its enticingly deep garnet hue. The nose teases with a fruit-forward, spicy richness reminding of cherry syrup, mint leaf, clove, allspice, potpourri, cedar wood and camphor. The palate is mature and silky, plush with red fruit and spices reminiscent of raspberry, dark cherry, and mixed berry jam. The finish includes mint leaf, clove, allspice, cedar, and chocolate.
