Jolie offers a dark, floral, earthy nose with lilacs and forest floor, new leather and black pepper, with a whiff of blackberry jam hidden beneath. The start of the palate is luscious with plums and prunes, blackberries, and blueberries. The mid-palate includes dried strawberries and bay leaf, with celery stalk, white pepper, and dark chocolate developing through the finish. The tannins are fresh, and will age nicely over the next few years.
